Slept well and had a nice breakfast with Joffrey. After breakfast he comes to hand over the ticket from his B & B to advertise and gives opi 40 euros for the Rinus-Pini Fund. He has already prepared a sandwich for me to take away… It makes me speechless. Magda suggests that he deposit that money into the KBS account himself, then he will receive proof for the taxes. This has already happened. My journey to collect funds for the Rinus-Pini Fund couldn't have started better. So much solidarity and charity.

In good spirits I start my second day: all the way along the Meuse : from Godinne to Dinant and from there to Givet, Fumay and finally to Revin; a beautiful Ardennes green route that is signposted à la Française in the French part… but that entails contacts with local people to ask for directions. When I ask a group of older local people for directions, we are lost...a discussion ensues as to who can point out the best way...listening and enjoying is the message.
